2. Why health screening is needed?

We are enjoying better living standards now and the diseases we face have more to do with lifestyle, e.g. hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coronary artery diseases etc. These diseases may have little symptoms during early stage which may lead to delay in diagnosis. Early detection enables easier treatment and higher chance of returning to health without long term reliance on medications.

Besides, one other disease that worries many is cancer. Cancer treatment has advanced leaps and bound during the past decades and total cure is certainly within reach for many cancer patients. However, successful treatment is still achievable only for patients who are diagnose early. Detection of early stage cancer or pre-cancerous changes via regular high-quality health screening is the wisest strategy to combat cancer.

Yes. It is a well-known fact that patients with co-morbidities e.g. having existing illnesses, suffer worse consequence if infected with COVID-19 with many died as a result. Health screening enables detection of these diseases so that effective prevention and treatment can be initiated and one can be better protected against consequences of COVID-19 infection.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this. It is best if you can discuss with our doctor who will help you decide based on your past medical history, personal concerns and wishes.

5. How long are the results available?

For most ordinary tests, the results can be available within 3 days. However, for specific and urgent cases, we can even provide the result faster on case by case basis. On the other hand, for certain specialized cases, the turn-around-time can be longer too. It is best to discuss time to get the result with our team before hand, if it is essential to you.
